Just a few days ago I have been reminded by one of my clients of our Resistance to Change and because of its importance, it is our topic for the next session.
What is the one of the most important things that we need to know when it comes to personal change and growth? What is resistance to change, how to recognise it and what to do when it happens.
Some people describe it as uncomfortable feeling that is so strong so that they need to go back in to previous mode of functioning or a habit in order to change this feeling, for some people it is increased pain, migraine, etc.; the common similarity to all of the symptoms of resistance is: in that moment we tend to think that we can never feel better.
I have experienced it too and I still do but now I react to it in a different way, by embracing it.
This is the tipping point, the time when we decide to go forward or back.
During this time you will learn exactly what is happening inside of our body and mind so it will be easier for you to embrace this uncomfortable feeling called resistance and change what you want to change more easily: change the habit, change the way you think and feel, solve problems and heal your body.
