What makes us human?
Our ability to empathise and see the world from the perspective of the other person.
During our time together we will be exploring and enhancing our most basic human skills, we are born with, empathy and compassion towards ourselves and others.
We will start by understanding mirroring and how we actually can feel what is happening in the mind of the other person, however if we don't really understand it (engage our empathy skills) we are prone to making mistakes and project our own fears and insecurities, thus increase our stress levels and anxieties. So we will talk about mistakes in our perception and understanding, learn from them, learn how to really understand others and deepen our understanding that will consequently lead us to more compassionate and satisfied life.
Compassion starts with us, being compassionate towards ourselves and accepting ourselves leads to better connection with other people, deeper and fulfilling relationships.
We are also going to engage in powerful exercise, changing perspective and take an inside and outside look into our relationships with people or specific person, which typically leads to deep insight and profound change in how we relate to others and ourselves.
All of this can have a profound impact on your specific relationship, relationships with others in general, work that you do or want to do, making decisions, creativity, clarity of mind and resilience.

What makes us human?
Just a few days ago I have been reminded by one of my clients of our Resistance to Change and because of its importance, it is our topic for the next session.
What is the one of the most important things that we need to know when it comes to personal change and growth? What is resistance to change, how to recognise it and what to do when it happens.
Some people describe it as uncomfortable feeling that is so strong so that they need to go back in to previous mode of functioning or a habit in order to change this feeling, for some people it is increased pain, migraine, etc.; the common similarity to all of the symptoms of resistance is: in that moment we tend to think that we can never feel better.
I have experienced it too and I still do but now I react to it in a different way, by embracing it.
This is the tipping point, the time when we decide to go forward or back.
During this time you will learn exactly what is happening inside of our body and mind so it will be easier for you to embrace this uncomfortable feeling called resistance and change what you want to change more easily: change the habit, change the way you think and feel, solve problems and heal your body.

This time we will be focusing on getting to know ourselves and our body; who you really are, what are your fears and how to overcome them; what are the messages our body is sending us and understanding them in order to heal (pain, discomfort, low energy, medical problems, etc.). You will learn how to connect and deepen the connection with your body and mind as well as learn how to communicate with yourself in a positive manner.
You have heard of people who intuitively new that they need to visit a doctor for a check up and it saved their lives. What is common to these people is that they have a good connection with their body. We are living in the fast world, we have no time for ourselves and we have become disconnected; we simply do not know how to listen and interpret messages our body is sending us. Body is telling us when to stop, slow down or change what we are doing and it often needs to shout because we do not react and this is when it becomes painful.
Curious thing happens when we connect with our body in attempt to heal because it changes our mental state too and we become calmer, more resilient, feel stronger and more in control of our thoughts, emotions, feelings and behaviour.
You will experience basic but very powerful guided meditation that will help you to connect with the body, release stress and heal. And, as a bonus you will be taking audio recording with you to keep practicing until the next time we meet.
Second workshop for Healing and Stress Reduction and we are going to explore one of the most important parts of our existing stress mechanism, coping reaction.
We all use some sort of coping with stress, however not all of it is healthy or beneficial to us in a long run. It is effective to destress at the time of increased stress; focus or change focus, relax the body, change emotion, etc. Like, drinking after work, express anger at the wrong person, shopping, drugs, sex, smoking, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) is one of them too; flight or fight is in the essence of it.
However non of these are healthy in a long run, because they create even more stress, guilt, negativity towards self or others, broken relationships,etc. So the more we learn to cope with the stress in a healthier way, we then use less of these negative coping mechanisms.
You will learn why do we learn these coping mechanisms and how to successfully change them. You will also learn how to use your visualisation and some powerful techniques that will help you to make important changes in your life. You will also learn how to deal with you inner critical mind and take home as an audio recording a powerful visualisation technique that will help you to continue making desirable changes in your life.
First in a row of meditations for Healing and Stress Reduction and during the first session you will learn important facts about the body and mind. How our body responds to Stress and contrary how it responds to Relaxation/Meditation. You will learn what is Meditation, how to meditate and also take home first audio recording that will help you to meditate on a regular basis, easily and effortlessly.
We will continue to meet once per week for a month, every Monday and deepen our understanding of the body and mind. As we progress, meditation practice will progress too and you will learn some powerful techniques that will help you to take control of your health and minimise impact of Stress on your body. You will also learn how to boost healing process in your body and strengthen your immune system.
As you know Stress not only affects our physical but also our mental health and as we practice meditation and deepen our body mind connection other things can and will change and you will experience more positivity in your life; you will experience long periods of calmness, your creativity will improve, it will become easier to solve problems and as you improve relationship with yourself relationships with others will improve too.
